A fantastic article has been written on the Newsfactor Network that talks about improving a new staff member’s adoption of your CRM system when first joining your company.

For instance, a rep could go through a session where the customer looks for information on the Web site, doesn’t find it, and then gets frustrated trying to navigate the automated voice response system.

I’ve just started a new site, Better Business Systems. It’s a site that covers some issues like business process management and document management. I’ve found that businesses need a few more systems outside of customer relationship management (shock, horror!). One great thing is that it gives me a little more flexibility in writing about other business system issues and how to improve them, which I’m excited about.

Not totally CRM related, but my company has just released an online store for electronic gadgets including digital cameras, PDAs and MP3 players. For the technically literate people out there, it was developed in Ruby on Rails a fantastic web application framework which could host a fantastic CRM system one day.
