I'm biased as a Legrand reseller but of the numerous packages we have worked with (both internally and as a reseller), Legrand would have to be the most functionality rich in its class.

Additionally, the issue Grant mentioned regarding attachment has now been overcome via the Outlook import and addin utilities which provide simple integration between Legrand and Outlook.

More information about Legrand features can be found on our website: www.legrandcrm.net.au

I use pivotal everyday at a large company in the US. I've been trying to find some sort of review on Pivotal, unfortunately there's not much. Pivotal is quite possibly the worst CRM I have ever used. It's clunky, the interface hurts my eyes, it looks like it was created by a teenager as a side project for his Computer Science class, actually that's an insult to teenagers everywhere, a low IQ 12 year old could program a better CRM. I have no idea why my company continues to buy, and use this program (probably because its cheap). All I can say is you get what you pay for.

You better off with using ACT! or Salesforce IMHO.

The Books Online is starting to gain some traction in the SME market as a hosted CRM/Accounting system. We find most of our clients are up and running in a few hours .... not days or months. We are one of the few systems in the world where accounting and CRM are combined into one package, without relying on integration with 3rd party systems. The same is also true of our e-mail, diary, website and online shop functionality. Part of the complexity of some systems is their reliance on 'talking to' these 3rd party systems. It is rare we have to customise a system for our SME clients, and we price directly at the SME market (though larger organisations can certainly use The Books ONline).

Our business has a simple yet very functional online CRM system you may wish to have a look at. It includes an integrated accounting system to enable you to completely manage your business all in one system. Our website is www.thebooksonline.com (we are Australian based with a presence also in NZ).

I don't know where you people are coming from.
I've recently done comparisons on several CRM for my business and Legrand wins hands down every time.
We've been using Std version 4.50.06 for three years and its much more intuitive than both Act and Goldmine. Support is fantastic and local. In fact the one great feature is the fact that it is so easy to move from screen to screen and click from Companies to contacts and then to Outlook or calendar. I can imagine whats behind your agenda.
